Discover Fine Bordeaux Wine
Bordeaux is one of the most important wine regions in the world. Dominated by red blends mostly consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, these wines tend to be medium bodied with earthy notes and sturdy tannins. The climate of Bordeaux is mostly impacted by the surrounding rivers and close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, which create a consistently moderate climate.
The Millesima team has chosen three bottles from the Left Bank to feature in our Bordeaux Discovery Wine Gift Set. The Left Bank is home to well-known appellations such as Margaux, whose wines are known for their generous balance and remarkable finish, and Saint-Julien, whose wines are bold, fine and perfumed with a complex bouquet. Both appellations produce Medoc wines at a fantastic value.
The Bordeaux Discovery Wine Gift Set contains three unique bottles from well-known producers: Chateau Citran is one of the oldest estates in the Medoc, reputed for its elegant and complex wines; Connetable de Talbot is the second wine of Chateau Talbot, a prestigious Classified Growth of Saint-Julien and one of the essential references of the wines of the Left Bank in the Bordeaux region; Fiefs de Lagrange, Second Wine of Chateau Lagrange, comes from vines aged 30 years on average, planted in fine gravel soils for Cabernet Sauvignon and clay for Merlot.
