The Millesima team has curated bottles for the Burgundy Classic Gift Set, which features three Burgundy wines that accurately represent their distinct appellations and terroirs. This set includes wines from each level of distinction - Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru – in order to show the range of terroirs the region has to offer. Powerful and complex, they are the truest and most elegant expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The Burgundy Classic Wine Gift Set contains three unique bottles from well-known producers: the Harmand-Geoffroy family have been cultivating 9 hectares of Pinot Noir since the end of the 19th century; Patrick Piuze produces 18 different Burgundy white wines from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru appellation levels ; and Domaine A.F. Gros is a family business specializing in the production of hand-crafted Burgundy red wines from Pinot Noir.

Pinot Noir – Gevrey-Chambertin

This Gevrey-Chambertin from Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy is aged for 12 to 16 months in oak barrels, with the proportion of new wood ranging from 30 to 50%. Its rich, fruity aromas are accompanied by a structured palate. This delicate wine, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, goes well with many delicately-fleshed meats, such as poultry, white meats and small game.

Chardonnay – Chablis

Les Minots' is a specific parcel within 1er Cru Vaillons with 70-year-old vines that benefit from southern exposure. This wine is showing very well, combining on the nose aromas of crisp white fruit with a chalky minerality. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, generous and satiny, with a chewy structure, remarkable precision and a mineral finish.

Pinot Noir – Burgundy

The wines of AF Gros have become known for their beautiful aromas of juicy, ripe black fruits (redcurrants and cherries), earthy aromas and touches of oak. This cuvée is a very accessible style of Pinot Noir, with fresh cherry and red fruit flavors. A very charming Pinot Noir, ideal to drink in its youth.
