Explore Top French Wine Regions
With 307 official wine label names or AOP, (for Appellation d’Origine Protégée) France covers a wide range of wine styles that goes beyond the famous Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne. With bottles from Beaujolais, Rhone Valley and Sancerre in the Loire Valley, this selection features wines that stand out for typical expression of their terroir.
The Millesima team has hand picked bottles for the French Discovery Wine Gift Set that represent three traditional wine regions across the country. Each wine represents traditional styles that are a staple to each region ranging from fruit forward and food friendly Gamay, to bold, spicy Syrah followed by elegant and refined Sancerre.
The French Discovery Wine Gift Set contains three unique bottles: Chateau du Moulin-à-Vent is a historic Beaujolias producer that has continued to be a pioneer in the region; Francois Villard started his career as a chef and moved into the wine world with tremendous success creating sustainable wines that represent the classic Rhone Valley Syrah; and Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy produces beautiful mineral driven and wonderfully concentrated wines from old vines.
