The Vosne-Romanee appellation covers more than 150 hectares in the Cote de Nuits, and is shared between the Flagey-Echezeaux and Vosne-Romanee communes. Out of all the Vosne-Romanee climats, 14 have Premier Cruclassification. The vines are planted on clay marl and calcareous soil. The Vosne-Romanee appellation exclusively produces Pinot Noir single-varietal red wines. At tasting, these wines reveal ripe fruit, red and black fruit and spicy aromas in their youth. As they age, we can notice slight scents of alcoholic red fruit, candied fruit and more animal notes. They are balanced on the palette and require ageing for a few years to be more supple and structured.
