Discover Elegant Champagne
The Champagne region is home to a rich history of wine production, one which dates back to the Middle Ages, when Pope Urban II first declared these wines to be the best in the world. The region comprises roughly 34,000 hectares of vineyards, producing an average of one million bottles per day. At latitude 49°N, this region is one of the most northerly wine-producing regions in the world, with much cooler average temperatures than any other region in France.
The Millesima team has carefully chosen bottles from three well-known producers for the Champagne Gift Set. These wines are uniquely bold and made from the three traditional champagne varieties. Pinot Noir contributes a certain weight on the palate, along with dark fruit aromas. Pinot Meunier contributes a nice acidity and a fruitiness that shines brightest in younger wines. And Chardonnay lends the wine an elegance and finesse, a certain creamy roundness on the palate, along with fresh stone fruit aromas.
The Champagne Gift Set contains three unique bottles: Laherte Freres is a family estate which has gradually grown over generations and today covers over 11 hectares across the Champagne region; Louis Roederer is a Champagne house in Reims and one of the last great Champagne houses to have remained family-run and independent; and Charles Heidsieck is a prestigious Champagne produce, known for its structured and creamy signature style.
Laherte Freres Brut Tradition
Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir - Champagne
The Brut Tradition cuvee of Laherte Freres is a subtle blend of three varieties, reflecting the diversity of Laherte Freres’ terroir. A fine and complex blend with gorgeous fruit and a certain delicacy. Well-spiced and mouthwatering, this champagne offers expressive flavors of black raspberry, dried apricot, orange blossom, fleur de sel and crystallized honey.
Louis Roederer Collection 242
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier - Champagne
The Louis Roederer Collection 242 is a non-vintage Champagne created by Leon Olry Roederer at the beginning of the 20th century. The champagne perfectly expresses the House style from one year to the next. At tasting, this champagne is elegant with vibrant and generous flavors. It is full-bodied and juicy with lovely viscosity, all of which give it an overall fruity and refreshing character. The persistent finish has a never-ending effervescence and festive personality.
Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve
Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay - Champagne
The Brut Reserve Charles Heidsieck is a multi-vintage champagne, another one of the house’s prestigious cuvees. The very precise palate envelops the mouth, delivering a succession of fruity aromas alongside a deliciously crunchy texture reminiscent of a thin layer of brittle. Persistent and flavorful, the finish seduces with its notes of praline and vanilla. A harmonious, full-bodied, and elegant champagne by Charles Heidsieck.
