The wine appellations of Bordeaux are divided into Left and Right Bank appellations, based on which side of the Gironde River the vineyards occupy. The 2014 Chateau Giscours is a very expressive, scrumptious Margaux Troisième Cru Classé on an aromatic palette rich of black fruits (smashed blackberry, blackcurrant) and red berry (wild raspberry) on some balsamic fragrances. The palate carries a delicate tannic structure, both strong (sap with tight and fine grain) and pleasant on the finish. The well-extracted tannins build a solid structure in this classic yet strong wine. The balanced whole foreshadows a good ageing potential.

Chateau de Fieuzal Pessac-Leognan 2015

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot - Pessac-Leognan

With its intense blood red color and purple reflections, the Château de Fieuzal 2015 reveals complex aromas of red fruits and black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry). There are then expressive fragrances of spices and graphite. In the mouth, the attack is dense and offers tannins that combine finesse and elegance. This wine, which reveals a silky structure, presents a wonderful tension during a long finish.

Chateau Meyney Saint-Estephe 2015

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot - Medoc

The 2015 Meyney is a Saint-Estephe having a deep and dark red exhales in the first nose an intense, fruity, floral and spicy bouquet. The notes of cassis, red currants, black berries, violet amass during the aeration. The attack is both powerful and rich. The palate is medium-bodied and firm with nice fruit expression and vibrancy. The final feel is distinguished and juicy, assuring on this Grand Saint-Estephe a rare sensual delight.
