First established under the name Henri Gimonnet in the 20th century, Pierre Gimonnet took over the running of the family-owned Champagne House in the 1930s. The Pierre Gimonnet & fils Champagne House is located to the south of Epernay, in the Cote des Blancs, one of the Champagne region’s illustrious areas. In 1955, the son of Pierre Gimonnet, Michel, instilled both passion and expertise into the house’s cuvées and created the iconic house style. Gradually built up over the years, the house currently reigns over 29.4 hectares of vines that spread over some fine Champagne plots: Cuis Premier Cru, Chouilly Grand Cru, Cramant, Oger and Vertus.

Dubbed as specialists of Blanc de Blancs Champagnes, the house’s cuvées exude a pleasant elegance, balance, complexity along with a lifted minerality. The vines are deeply rooted in the chalky slopes of the Cote des Blancs and enjoy the area’s climate. The grapes thrive on the vine and reach their full aromatic potential, before undergoing a masterful vinification process using integrated viticultural practices.
