It offers a delicate attack on the nose, fleshy fruity and balsamic-mineral notes. Flavours of black cherries, plums, mocha, tobacco and smoke all flow from this intense vintage. The Caiarossa 2009 shows silky smooth palate, with rich crushed raspberry fruit and integrated vanilla oak. It reveals a long finish.
