Schramsberg Vineyards : Mirabelle Brut Rose

The Schramsberg Mirabelle Brut Rose is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in Carneros, the Anderson Valley, as well as Sonoma and Marin coastal areas. The fruit is harvested by hand and fermented in small lots to produce many different base wines from which the blend is assembled. The Mirabelle Brut Rose undergoes a second fermentation in bottle, following the traditional Champagne method and aged in Schramsberg s Diamond Mountain caves for approximately two years before disgorgement. The Mirabelle Brut Rose shows an elegant, pale pink in the glass with flavors and aromas of fruit and spice strawberry, candied orange, cherry, and cinnamon. A delightful, dry, sparkling rose.
