In the heart of Burgundy, on the magnificent terroirs of Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, lies Domaine Marc Colin et Fils. Founded in 1979 by Marc Colin and his wife, the vineyard covered 6 hectares of the region's finest appellations. Now run by Caroline and Damien Colin, the estate covers a dozen hectares of this exceptional land, which was cultivated by Cluniac monks as far back as the 13th century.

The plots of Marc Colin et Fils are spread across the Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Santenay appellations. They benefit from a mosaic of terroirs bringing out the excellence of the region's two emblematic grape varieties. With 11 hectares of vines planted with Chardonnay and Aligoté, Marc Colin et Fils showcases two exceptional white grape varieties. A single hectare is planted with the great Pinot Noir grapes used to produce the estate's 5 red crus.

The vines are an average of forty years old and are cultivated using integrated or organic methods. Their slender, linear shape is the result of single Guyot pruning, ideal for Chardonnay.
