Domaine Louis Boillot : Key Points

Louis Boillot produces 16 wines from a little under 7 hectares of old vines, deeply rooted in the illustrious Cote de Beaune in Burgundy. A vast majority of the wines are produced using Pinot Noir and these wines make up the entirety of our Louis Boillot range. In the cellars of his estate in Chambolle-Musigny, Louis Boillot produced his first vintage in 2003. In fact, he shares his cellars with his partner Ghislaine Barthod, who produces wine under the name Domaine Ghislaine Barthod. Although the two estates share the same cellars, they are run independently, and the wines are vinified in different ways. The intervention in the vineyard is kept to a minimum and the teams use few chemical fertilizers.

With vineyards located in numerous Premier Cru plots, the wines exude aromas of juicy black fruit and are well-balanced on the palate.
