The discreet Domaine Albert Grivault is located in the heart of the village of Meursault. In 1875, at the age of 19, the young Albert Grivault began making wine and distilling. In 1879, following the death without heir of the Marquis de Latroche, Albert Grivault acquired the prestigious Clos des Perrières Monopole, unanimously recognised as the greatest climat in Meursault and often compared to Montrachet. From then on, Albert Grivault became one of the biggest names on the Burgundy wine scene and extended his activities to the South of France, acquiring a distillery in Béziers in 1888. His heirs, Michel and Marguerite Bardet, along with their children, continue to perpetuate the know-how passed down, highlighting this exceptional Côte de Beaune terroir.

The Albert Grivault estate now covers 6 hectares of vines. "Clos des Perrières" is the jewel in the crown, but the estate also produces the prestigious Meursault Premier Cru "Les Perrières" and "Clos du Murger," as well as the Pommard Premier Cru "Clos Blanc."

Produced in limited quantities and bearing witness to unrivalled Burgundian know-how, the cuvées of the Albert Grivault estate are at the pinnacle of the great wines of Burgundy and bear witness to the singularity of each climat and each hamlet from which they are made.
