Renowned for producing intense Pinot Noirs, Domaine Ghislaine Barthod is a fine producer that takes root in the Chambolle-Musigny appellation of Burgundy.

The already-existing estate was taken over by Gaston Barthod in the 20th century. Ghislaine Barthod, Gaston’s daughter took over the running of the family estate following her father’s passing in 1999. Working alongside her partner, Louis Boillot, the duo reigns over 15 acres of vineyards in the finest Chambolle-Musigny plots.

The plots spread over the finest Burgundian sites, three Premier Crus are included in our range: Les Cras, Les Chatelots and Aux Combottes. Ghislaine Barthod has mastered each terroir and the wines express the finesse of the 30-year-old vines. The vinification is carried out in a traditional manner and the wines are aged in small barrels for around 20 months before being released. The Pinot Noir wines are spellbinding and exude aromas of cassis, red cherries and black fruit. Lay them down in your cellar until 2060 and see how the aromas and flavors evolve over time.
