The property

Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, Moët & Chandon quickly established itself among the European courts. His grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët, contributed to its international influence and created the famous Moët Impérial in tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte, loyal to the House and initiator of the sabrage. Integrated into the LVMH group since 1987, it perpetuates its know-how by producing exceptional cuvées.

The limited edition

Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams explored the House's archives and discovered that in 1892, the iconic bow adorning the bottles was originally a ribbon. Now an elegant tied tie, it is at the heart of this special edition. For the occasion, the box and the neck of the Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial bottle are dressed in different colors (gold, blue and red). The House's emblematic typography evolves into white writing punctuated with pearls, while the red royal seal becomes a pearl monogram.

Vinification and aging

The Moët Impérial Brut includes 20 to 30% of reserve wines, carefully selected to guarantee its complexity and consistency. The harmony between pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay ensures a perfect balance between body, suppleness and finesse. This know-how, combined with controlled aging, shapes its unique profile and refined expression.

Blend

This champagne is the result of a pinot noir blend (30 to 40%), pinot meunier (30 to 40%), chardonnay (20 to 30%).
