The Louis Roederer Cristal Rose 2007 is defined by its precision and elegance. It benefited from six years of aging and an additional eight months after disgorgement. It throws a rose gold hue, deepened with green and brown tones. The first sip reveals a slight salinity overlaid with qualities of dried flowers, baking spices; and blood orange zest. Its aromas are lively and energetic, but softened and rounded out by notes of lightly toasted almonds. It offers concentrated fruit and a weighty, slightly viscous texture. Its persistent, lingering freshness is highlighted by just the right amount of sweetness.
