Attentive to its vineyard, Henri Giraud crafts cuvées that, through minimal-intervention winemaking, are the perfect expression of the terroirs of Champagne.

Championing the quality of natural wines and a "Zero Pesticide" approach, Henri Giraud was the first house to feature, as early as January 2018, an informative label giving access, via a QR code, to the complete analysis results of its cuvées.

Vineyard

The terroir of the House of Champagne Henri Giraud owes its distinctiveness to its full south-facing exposure, its chalky subsoil, and the cool, humid currents of the Marne flowing toward Paris.

The wine

The Blanc de Craie Brut cuvée by Henri Giraud was born from the house's desire to work a white grape variety on land traditionally devoted to Pinot Noir. This cuvée comes from vines planted on chalky, ideally exposed, well-drained soil, which gives it the structure and salinity characteristic of the house.
