Petit-Chablis is an appellation of the Village classification and can be produced on any commune of the Chablis vineyards. Located at 230 to 280 meters above sea level, the vines of the Petit-Chablis appellation are generally planted in limestone, silt or sandy soils. The Chardonnay white wines of the Petit-Chablis appellation have a bright golden color with shades of green. They give off fragrances of white flowers and citrus fruits, along with subtle mineral notes. On the palate, they turn out to be lively, light, with a balanced acidity and a round, full-bodied character.
