The estate
An essential reference of Chablis, in Burgundy, the Domaine Laroche is particularly distinguished by a unique historical heritage that dates back to the 9th century. Part of the Advini group since 2009, Domaine Laroche is recognized for the precision, elegance, and aromatic richness of its wines, which authentically express the subtlety of the Chablis climates.
The vineyard
This unique terroir, located to the east of the hill of the grand crus, is distinguished by its soil rich in Kimmeridgian limestone and white clays scattered with shells, reflecting a rich geological history. Covering an area of 12.7 hectares, of which 4.56 are exploited by Domaine Laroche, its east/southeast orientation limits sun exposure to morning hours, significantly influencing the microclimate and the ripening of the grapes. This particular condition gives life to Chablis wines of exceptional complexity and balance.
Vinification and aging
Harvested by hand, the grapes are rigorously sorted upon arrival at the winery. This wine has benefited from aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and French oak.
