Tasting
Color
The wine displays a pale to medium ruby color, typical of a Pinot Noir vinified without excessive extraction.
Nose
The nose opens on red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, layered with violet floral notes and subtle touches of mushroom, minerality and light spice.
Palate
The palate is harmonious and medium-bodied, carried by a silky texture, soft and rounded tannins, and lively acidity. Red fruit flavors remain at the core, leading into a finish of good length marked by light mineral and earthy nuances.
Food and wine pairings
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir pairs nicely with red meats and roasts, pork tenderloin, grilled fish and roast chicken. It is equally at ease with roasted vegetables, mushroom-based dishes and soft-rind cheeses.
Serving and cellaring
The Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2023 from Louis Jadot is crafted for immediate enjoyment, without the need for extended cellaring, making it an easy, everyday pour.

The Estate
Founded in 1859 in Beaune, Burgundy, Maison Louis Jadot has grown into one of the region's most widely distributed négociant houses. Today owned by the Kopf family and led by president Thomas Seiter alongside managing director Thibault Gagey, the house farms close to 240 hectares across the Côte d'Or, the Mâconnais and Beaujolais. Recognized by its Bacchus head emblem since its earliest days, Louis Jadot combines vineyard ownership with long-standing grower partnerships to craft wines that reflect Burgundy's many terroirs.
The Vineyard
The grapes for this Bourgogne come from vineyard sites spread across the Côte d'Or and the Côte Chalonnaise, sourced through long-term relationships with growers that Louis Jadot has cultivated over many years, helping to secure quality fruit each vintage.
Winemaking and aging
The Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2023 is vinified and aged in a facility dedicated to this cuvée, where the wine spends several months in French oak barrels, allowing the fruit character to stay at the forefront while gaining a light structuring touch from the wood.
Grape Varieties
100% Pinot Noir.
