Champagne Krug Rosé is original, voluptuous and mysterious. It is produced in a strictly limited quantity. This Champagne is a multi-vintage wine and a blend of Pinots Noirs from the village of Aÿ, which macerated on their skin and were then blended with 3 varietals (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay) coming from 10 to 15 different plots.
This wine has a golden salmon pink colour with coral glints. It gives off fine floral aromas. This Krug Champagne is both complex and charming. It offers wild strawberry, raspberry and wild berry fruit notes, enhanced by spicy accents. This Champagne Krug Rosé is both very dry and supple.

The pale-colored NV Brut Rose wafts from the glass with dried red cherries, crushed flowers, spices and mint. There is good elegance in the mousse, but the aromas and flavors are a bit developed and mature. I imagine the Brut Rose is best enjoyed over the next few years, notwithstanding its relatively recent disgorgement in the Fall of 2011. This bottle carries ID Code: 311030. Disgorged: Fall 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014.
