A Blanc de Blancs Champagne Combining Density and Refinement
The estate
Founded by Arthur Agrapart at the end of the 19th century, the Champagne Agrapart House experienced major growth starting in 1995. The founder’s grandson, Pascal Agrapart, brings out the character of the great Champagne terroirs through his cuvées, thanks to a meticulous selection of vineyards and highly precise single-parcel vinification.
Agrapart champagnes are renowned for their minerality, their exceptionally delicate effervescence, and their rich aromatic palette.
The vineyard
The Agrapart House oversees a 12-hectare vineyard located on the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Cramant, Oger, Oiry), emblematic terroirs of Champagne. The vines are grown on thin, chalky soils.
The wine
Always vintage, the Avizoise cuvée Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut from Agrapart comes from a selection of parcels planted on the terroirs of Avize (Robarts, Gros Yeux), set on deep clay soils above the chalk.
Vinification and aging
Disgorgement is carried out 2 months before this Extra Brut champagne is released, with a dosage of 3 g/L.
Blend
This Avizoise Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut 2019 from Agrapart is made from 100% Chardonnay.
