Viña Cobos is a project founded by California winemaker Paul Hobbs and the Argentine team of Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud. The three met in 1997 and set out to make world class wines with a true sense of place. Focused on the expression of terroir in each of their wines, the team at Viña Cobos focuses on vineyard management as well as natural wine making practices in the winery. To help retain ample body and a persistent finish all while maintaining balance in the wine, most of the Viña Cobos wines are unfined and unfiltered.
