Chateau Cos d'Estournel 2014

In its 10th vintage, 2014 Cos d'Estournel Blanc (blend from Sauvignon blanc 66%, Sémillon 34%) expresses itself fully, the outcome of long years of hard work. A better knowledge of the vineyard plots, deliberately dedicated to white varieties, as well as more precise techniques in the cellar, have allowed very positive progress for this wine. It now expresses all its promise. On tasting, there is a perfect balance between freshness and sweetness, complexity and purity. Passion fruit on the nose with spices, pineapple and white flowers. Fresh attack on the palate, taut, mineral and saline notes. Rich finish, with great length.
