Description
The Louis and Catherine Venerees Vieilles Vignes Chablis is sourced from their “Sous plaine de Serre” and Les Ardiats” vineyards of 58-66 old vine Chardonnay. The soils are composed of Kimmeridgian soils with large chalky stones. Hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, the wine is lightly fined and filtered to preserve the grape’s characteristics. The Louis and Catherine Venerees Vieilles Vignes Chablis displays notes of sap, pears, apples and lemon. The mouthfeel is bright and crisp, balanced by chalky tannin and mouthwatering acidity.
