Magnificent, deep ruby colour. An harmonious nose of red berry fruit with hints of toast followed by fruit kernels, almonds and finally menthol and liquorice that is characteristic of the terroir. On the palate, there is red berry fruit (cherries and kirsch) and a pleasant freshness. A long, full, classic vintage.
