Château Les Grandes Murailles lends its name to this solitary, elegant ruin that bears witness to the religious past of the commune of Saint-Émilion, namesake of the sumptuous appellation on Bordeaux's Right Bank. A Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé adjoining Clos Fourtet, Château les Grandes Murailles has belonged to the Cuvelier family since 2012.

The 'Great Wall' watches over the property's small 2-hectare vineyard. Planted exclusively with Merlot, the Grandes Murailles vineyard stretches across the famous clay-limestone soils of Saint-Émilion. Grown using integrated farming methods, the greatest care is taken with the terroir and the vines in the vineyard.

Les Grandes Murailles, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, is one of the finest wines in the appellation. The estate's wines are timeless and full of finesse, the fruit of a passion and a desire to reveal, through a great grape and a great terroir, one of the finest expressions of the appellation.
