Description
Chateau Peyrabon has a well-marked identity as a historic property of the Haut-Medoc that dates back to 1766. The 47-hectare vineyard located on sandy soil with a clay subsoil grows Cabernet Sauvigon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
The 2003 vintage is a historic solar vintage. However, the starting potential of this Chateau Peyrabon is important. The blend selected for the wine is 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. The Chateau Peyrabon 2003 has texture, roundness and volume. The potency and aromatic complexity of this Haut-Medoc show a great potential for cellaring.
