Description
A seductive vintage collection Champagne with finesse and structure
The estate
The Krug Champagne House was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a visionary and passionate man. It holds a unique library in the world consisting of more than 150 reserve wines, some of which are over 15 years old.
The vineyard
With more than 250 different plots, including the prestigious Clos du Mesnil and Clos d’Ambonnay, the Krug House holds an exceptional heritage of vines in Champagne.
The wine
Much to the delight of collectors, an extremely limited number of Krug Millésime bottles are carefully kept in the optimal conditions of the House cellars. These bottles are meticulously tasted and evaluated, awaiting their opportunity to blossom in a second life.
The vintage
After four years of climatic challenges, 1995 was a blessing for Champagne, with a mild winter, warm spring, and a summer marked by intense heat, contributing to fruits of exceptional freshness and character.
Blend
Pinot Noir (48%)
Chardonnay (35%)
Pinot Meunier (17%)

Nose
On the nose, it reveals aromas of cocoa, accompanied by notes of orange marmalade and biscuits.
