Henriot : Cuvee des Enchanteleurs 1998

The Cuvée des Enchanteleurs of the Champagne House Henriot prooves their proficiency in the art of blending the varietals Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of the Grand Crus from the Champagne region. The bottles of this prestigious cuvée age in the darkness and tranquility of the cellars for at least 12 years in order to develop their full potential. The 1998 vintage has a beautiful golden yellow colour with an elegant effervescence and fine bubbles. On the nose, strong notes of candied citrus fruits, hazelnut, honey and pastry can be notized. It has a ripe and fine bouquet which presents a beautiful aromatic evolution. On the palate, the attack is bold and fresh, which is the sign of a great year. This champagne tastes of several aromas: exotic fruits, wild peach and butter and it has a nice persistence.
