The unctuousness and aromatic depth of a great Californian wine
The Estate
For more than a century now, Beaulieu Vineyard has been one of the most prestigious wine estates in California. An iconic reference known to wine lovers around the world, Beaulieu Vineyard embodies, by definition, the classic style of Napa Valley's great red wines. Combining tradition and modernity, Beaulieu Vineyard's wines faithfully express the character of their native terroirs.
The Wine
An iconic cuvée among the great Napa Valley wines, Georges de Latour Private Reserve was first created in 1936, a year marked by a devastating frost. Although the harvest was low in quantity, its quality was exceptional, with small, highly concentrated berries. Since that vintage, Beaulieu Vineyard's Georges de Latour Private Reserve has established itself as an exceptional wine, unique for its concentration and structure.
The Vintage
Despite low yields due to a particularly hot and dry summer, the 2021 vintage will be remembered for the quality and concentration of its grapes.
Blend
Cabernet Sauvignon (94%)
Petit Verdot (6%).
