On the nose the 2008 Guado al Tasso shows elegant notes of toasted oak, coffee, and spices followed by aromas of plums and blackcurrants. The palate is soft but firm with acidity bringing freshness and crispness. The tannins are extremely elegant and the finish persist, with notes of coffee, berry fruits and oak. This is a vintage with a fantastic ageing potential.
