Vignai da Duline : Morus Alba 2009

Vignai da Duline seek to create wines which express the identity of the land from which they originate. The Morus Alba is a blend of hillside grown Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia from the plains fermented entirely in barrique and tonneau without the addition of sulfur dioxide. The Vignai da Duline Morus Alba is made from grapes grown on vines which range from thirty to eighty-plus years old. It shows remarkable complexity, marrying a round, exotic quality from the Malvasia with the crisp focus and mineralit of Sauvignon Blanc, both balanced and refined further by the subtle influence of oak aging. An elegant and balanced wine that provides an excellent match for any seafood dish.
