Description
Fewer than 400 cases of the Sottimano Barbaresco Curra are produced each year from the 1.5 hectare plot of 45 year old vines the estate owns. The Curra vineyard is in the estate's home village of Nieve and has a southern exposure. The wine is fermented and left in contact with the skins for approximately three weeks. The wine is aged in barrels (25% new) made from French oak. The Sottimano Barbaresco Curra is a concentrated and elegant Nebbiolo with classic flavors of red fruit and spice.
