Description
Made from 100% Primitivo (genetially the same grape as Zinfandel in California), Primaterra's version of this full, rich wine comes from vines grown 200 meters above sea level in Puglia in southern Italy. It is a ripe and fruity wine with notes of plum and blackberry. Fermented in stainless steel it is aged in a combination of oak and stainless steel tanks to balance the soft rich flavors with a fresh fruitiness.
