Description
A classic expression of Trimbach’s “purist” style, this dry Riesling is from a historical monopole within the Grand Cru Rosacker, Clos Sainte Hune. This 1.67-ha monopole has been owned by the Trimbach family for over two hundred years, and the Trimbach’s have been bottling wine from it since 1919. The average vine age is fifty years old and the soil is predominately limestone. This wine has the potential to age, with each year in the cellar giving way to more layers of nuance. With only an average of 650 cases produced per year, this wine is a treasure to find.
