Description
The Claudio Morelli Colli Pesaresi “La Vigna delle Terrazze" comes from Colli Pesaresi, a DOC in the hills in the north of the Marche region in central Italy. The vineyards are located near the northern coastline of Le Marche with light grayish soils composed of sand and tufo, which imparts a fresh, bright style to the wine. This pure expression of Sangiovese is completely fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, which helps retain the bright character of Sangiovese. The Claudio Morelli Colli Pesaresi “La Vigna delle Terrazze" expresses wild strawberries, sweet liqueur notes and wild herbs on the nose. Soft tannins balance the bright fruit, best with red sauces or mild cheeses.
