Chateau La Croix de Gay: a Pomerol of great finesse
The Chateau La Croix de Gay is a red wine produced in the Pomerol appellation. The vineyard is 3.7 hectares and they vines grow in Gunz and Mindel gravel. The aging is done in barrels (60% new and 40% old) for an average of 18 months. The Chateau La Croix de Gay 2016 is made from a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, the Chateau La Croix de Gay 2016 is accessible. Charming and with great finesse, this wine has excellent ageing potential.
