Description
Made from the most well-known variety on Sardegna, the Cantina di Mogoro Nero Sardo is 100% Cannonou. Grown in hillside vineyards surrounding the area of Mogoro the grapes are crushed immediately following harvest and fermented in contact with the skins for approximately 10 days at cooler temperatures, which results in a lively, aromatic expression of Cannonau. The Nero Sardo is bottle a few months after fermentation is complete in order to capture the freshness of the wine. Pair it with pizza, crudite, or goat and cow milk cheeses.
