Antinori - Peppoli : Key Points

The first owners of Tenuta Pèppoli were the Gondi family followed by the Cerchi family and Marchesi Antinori acquired the estate in 1985. This year, 1985, is a milestone in the history of Marchesi Antinori, as this illustrious and leading Tuscan wine producer celebrated its 600th anniversary.

Situated 5 kilometres north-east of the Tenuta Tignanello estate, Antinori-Pèppoli reigns over a vineyard with a total area of 100 hectares, 50 hectares of which are dedicated to the production of Pèppoli Chianti Classico DOCG. Composed mainly of Sangiovese and other traditional grape varieties, this terroir gives rise to great Italian wines that are renowned for their pure, vibrant fruity expression and intense floral aromas.

Since 2013, the vinification of Pèppoli grapes has been carried out within the Marchesi Antinori estate's facilities.
