Blending Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Franc (25%), the Chateau La Mondotte 2018 stands as a reward for all the precise work and attention paid by the technical teams and owner Stephan Von Neipperg.
With its extraordinary aromatic richness, the nose opens on intense notes of red and black fruits, evoking raspberry, blackcurrant and plum. The floral notes of violet then appear, highlighting fine mineral notes reminiscent of the limestone terroir. The palate is powerful, offering a splendid expression of fruit and is structured by a beautiful tannic frame. The crisp acidity of the wine stretches the palate into an incredibly persistent and fresh finish. A sumptuous vintage La Mondotte, promising a beautiful evolution with age.
