The Chateau La Mondotte is a Premier Grand Cru Classe B red wine with organic certification. The 4.5-hectare vineyard grows on the clay-limestone plateau east of Saint-Emilion. Aging is done in barrels (70% in new barrels) on fine lees for an average of 18 months. The Chateau La Mondotte 2016 blend is made of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
The Chateau La Mondotte 2016 reveals a red color with purple hues. It offers fruity aromas (red cherry, blueberry, prune) and has well-integrated oak.
