A must-have champagne unveiled in an innovative box
Veuve Clicquot: A prestigious Champagne house
An emblematic reference of the great names of Champagne, Maison Veuve Clicquot has built its reputation since its creation in 1772 thanks to a woman: Madame Clicquot. In a few years and at the end of the 18th century, Madame Clicquot will establish herself as the "Grande dame of Champagne" and will be at the origin of the invention of the riddling table with the motto "only one quality, the very first". World-renowned, the Veuve Clicquot Champagne house stands out with its bottles recognizable at first glance and adorned with a yellow label, inspired by the rising sun, with cuvées in a vinous style.
The vineyard
In the heart of Champagne, the Veuve Clicquot vineyard extends over 393 hectares, spread over 12 of the 17 Grands Crus and 20 of the 44 Premiers Crus of the region.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Carte Jaune: a unique and inimitable expression
Fruit of a precise elaboration, this cuvée exudes the nuances and identity of the 3 flagship grape varieties of Champagne. Giving this champagne a typical structure and a fruity harmony, the pinot noir is complemented by the chardonnay for its elegance and finesse, as well as the meunier for its roundness.
Dosed at 9 g/L, this non-vintage cuvée, made each year from the house's large collection of reserve wines, is unveiled in an unprecedented setting that will delight amateurs and collectors of limited editions signed Veuve Clicquot.
Vinification and aging
The vinification of Brut Carte Jaune follows traditional Champagne methods, favoring the purity of aromas. The precise blending of grape varieties and the attention paid to each stage of the process are at the heart of the creation of this champagne. The aging in the cellar gives the Brut Carte Jaune its maturity and complexity, resulting in a champagne that combines refinement and power.
Blend
Made from a collection of reserve wines (up to 45%), this cuvée owes its uniqueness to its blend composed of 50% pinot noir for structure, 30% chardonnay for elegance and finesse, and 20% pinot meunier for roundness.
