Description
Complex and generous, this Solera champagne expresses all the subtleties of its unique conception
The estate
With over 170 years of experience, the André Bergère family has put down roots in the Fèrebrianges region. Balancing tradition and skill, their strength lies in, above all, their passion. Passion for their unique terroir and dedication to their vines are strong values that are at the heart of their creations. Today, Adrien and Annaelle Bergère are at the head of the estate, brilliantly distinguishing the 65 hectares of vines inherited from their grandfather.
The vineyard
The Solera Blanc de Blancs Brut from Maison André Bergère draws its origin from the limestone soils of the Petit Morin Valley and the Sézannais. The property's watchwords are respect for nature and control of vine development, to create ever more singular wines.
Winemaking and ageing
After vinification, this champagne is aged on lees, part of which is matured in 228-litre barrels. This cuvée is the result of a blend of 50% of the year's harvest and 50% of wines from previous years, from a perpetual reserve set up in 2013.
