A Fine and Elegant Champagne
Avize Champ Caïn de Jacquesson is a single varietal Champagne from Chardonnay grapes (Blanc de blancs). It comes from a terroir consisting of clay-sandy-loam soils with chalk gravel on on a chalky bedrock. The total production area is 1.3 hectares. The Champagne was bottled on 18 May 2006 and then disgorged in February 2015.
At tasting, the 2005 Jacquesson Avize Champ Cain has a subtle and complex nose that gives mineral and chalky aromas. On the palate, the wine has great complexity and freshness with a solid structure, good tension, finesse and elegance.
