The 2000 William Deutz Brut is mainly composed of Pinot Noir, along with Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Its golden robe has crystal-clear glints and a fine and persistent bubble. The nose is powerful, rich and complex. It develops peach, honey, spicy, candied ginger and nutmeg aromas. On the palate, this 2000 William Deutz is bold and nervous. It offers stewed fruit, almond, spice and biscuit aromas. The finish is tasty and quaffable, and lingers on a fine salty note.
