The vineyard
Produced in Dry Bordeaux Whites, this Blanc de Valandraud is made from a 1.5 ha vineyard. The vines, averaging 20 years old, are planted on clay-limestone soil on south-west facing slopes.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvesting (2 tries) followed by storage in a cold room before pressing. Long pressing (about 5 hours) before fermentation in barrels. The 10-month ageing on lees is carried out in barrels (80% new) and in terracotta amphorae (20%).
Blend
Sauvignon gris (53%), Sauvignon Blanc (40%) and sémillon (7%).
