A First Classified Growth of Saint-Emilion, Chateau Valandraud shines bright among the most beautiful estates of the appellation.
The vineyard
Produced in Bordeaux dry whites appellation, this Blanc de Valandraud 2020 is made from a 1.5 ha vineyard. Aged 20 years on average, the vines are planted in clay-limestone soils.
The winemaking and aging
Manual harvest (3 sortings) followed by storage in a cold room before pressing. The aging is carried out on lees in barrels (80% new and 20% second-fill barrels).
The blend
The Blanc de Valandraud 2020 is made from a blend of Sauvignon Gris (60%), Sauvignon Blanc (30%) and Semillon (10%).
