Description
The estate
Prunotto is an Italian estate with a cultural, historical and traditional winemaking tradition. The wines produced have the typical scents of the grapes grown in its surrounding hills. The various vineyards of the Antinori - Prunotto estate are located in the best agricultural areas of Piedmont. The estate uses all the modern technology necessary to produce high quality Piedmont wines.
The vineyard
The 50 hectares of the estate are located in Alba, at an equal distance from Barbaresco and Barolo. This iconic name among Piedmont wines is set on a beautiful, smooth and colourful plain in the Langhe and Roero region.
The wine
This Barbaresco from Antinori – Prunotto is produced from vineyards in the communes of Treiso and Neive.

A cool and wet winter delayed the start of the growth cycle. These conditions continued through spring and the beginning of summer. The rise in temperature from mid-July onwards advanced a long and regular ripening of the grapes until the harvest.
