Located in the heart of the Burgundy region, Domaine Vincent Dureuil-Janthial has become a key reference. Although the family history dates back to the 13th century, the estate in its modern form was created when it was taken over in 1994 by Céline and Vincent Dureuil, the current owners. The vineyard covers around 20 hectares. The hallmark of the estate lies in its uncompromising commitment to quality and its organic viticulture, which has elevated its cuvées to the level of the region's finest wines.

The grapes for this cuvée come from three specific lieux-dits within the Rully appellation. The vineyard includes the parcel Le Meix Cadot, planted in 1978, the climat En Rosey planted in 1974, as well as Montagne de Remenot, planted in 1980. All these vines are farmed according to environmentally friendly practices inspired by organic agriculture.

The 2023 vintage in Burgundy is described as both generous and well-balanced, with weather conditions that favored excellent ripeness in the grapes.

For this Rully Village 2023, vinification includes 15% whole clusters and is carried out exclusively with indigenous yeasts. Aging takes place in oak barrels for 12 months, with 33% new oak. This is followed by 6 months of additional maturation in tank. The wine is finally bottled without fining or filtration.
