Description
La Chablisienne white wine with a fresh finish
Les Preuses from La Chablisienne is a single-varietal Chardonnay from plots aged 30 years on average in the Chablis Grand Cru appellation. The vines enjoy a terroir composed of soils of the middle and upper Kimmeridgian, with an alternation of limestone and marls Exogyra virgula. The wine is aged on fine lees for 20 months, in vats and barrels.
At tasting, the Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2013 by La Chablisienne reveals a silvery yellow color with light greenish reflections, clear and brilliant. At first very complex, the nose offers harmonious aromas of white flowers, fruits, sweet spices and a light but elegant woody quality. The palate shows off beautiful juice, dense and superbly balanced. The Preuses of La Chablisienne reveals delicious touches of white fruit from the orchard.
